Raised as an Air Force Brat, Kat grew up in several different places in the U.S. and Japan. Once settled in Kansas she became a die-hard KU Jayhawks and KC Chiefs fan, and started honing her skills in web development over 20 years ago. She started specializing in accessibility 17 years ago while working as the Webmaster at Douglas County, Kansas. She's now blessed to be a member of the Lullabot team as a Senior Front-end Developer which allows her to work on some of the top projects while sharing her accessibility knowledge with the team.
